Brussels is a city in which the European architectural styles of the last millennium are present. From Medieval walls, over numerous Gothic churches and buildings, along the classical ‘Austrian’ style and the boulevards with Parisian looks, up to 20th century Art Nouveau and Art Déco, modernism and structuralism : when you walk across Brussels streets you get an eyeful of different styles and impressions.

In the 21st century, Brussels boasts a multitude of architects whose creativity and know how are becoming well known abroad. This website currently presents more than 65 of them, who are internationally active.
